I shot a set of ecomm images for Nero Fabrics to launch their new range of active tops.
The brief was straightforward. Fresh, clean product imagery for online, with a bit of energy to match the garments.
We shot in Studio 2 at Fivefour Studios in Manchester. I hadn’t been back there in a while, but because of it's extra design features, it felt like the right space to build something a bit more atmospheric.
Once we’d covered the core ecomm frames and still had time, we pushed things further. I started introducing shutter drag to bring movement into the shots and break away from the usual static feel. Lighting stayed controlled but moody to keep everything grounded and slightly other-worldly without losing the product.
A simple brief, but a good chance to stretch the look once the essentials were in the bag.
